As homage to Etienne Bouvet, who founded the winery in 1851, a special cuvée was created with finest blend of Chenin and Chardonnay 2007 Vintage.
In April 2008, precisely 100 years after his passing away, 3 852 magnums were tapped and kept in the cellars until 2010. This cuvée reveals now its excellence and reverence to Etienne Bouvet. "Ogmius is indeed the greatest homage we could possibly pay to the man" Patrice Monmousseau confesses.
This wine is a selection of the best grapes of 2007 year aged in oak barrels. Powerful spicy bouquet with a delicate citrus note. Fresh and very fruity mouthfeel. Full-bodied, sophisticated wine with a long finish.
